Reggie Bush’s personal chef to be the star of New Orleans hotspot

It's a no brainer that celebrities and star athletes hire the best of the best when it comes to their personal chefs. Not only do football players enjoy the taste of a home-cooked meal when they get back from away games, but it is also essential that they get enough nutrients and protein from their meals in order to consistently play well.

This is why it comes as no surprise that star chef Gason Yen Nelson, former personal chef for running back Reggie Bush, has been hand-selected to oversee the kitchen at New Orleans hotspot Fat Hen Grocery. New owner C.J. Williams is a New Orleans native who recently purchased the business and will give it a unique flair.

"This is home," Williams told Nola.com. "New Orleans is a wonderful city that has had a rough patch. The only way to make it better is to get to work." On his collaboration with Nelson, Williams continued by saying, "We broke bread and now we're blood brothers. Our goal is to offer good, fresh classic New Orleans dishes with a twist."

Reggie Bush, now with the Detroit Lions, helped the New Orleans Saints win a super bowl in 2010. Nelson ensured that the NFL athlete was fed and fueled throughout his time with the winning team.

Whether you're a star athlete or not, let a personal chef prepare your meals. Our chefs will cook creative and flavorful cousines while ensuring that any dietary restrictions are met. If you're looking to hire a personal chef, be sure to contact Colonial Domestic Agency.
