9 tips to plan a relaxing family vacation this fall: Part Three

In parts one and two of our three-part series, we looked at ways your personal assistant can help you plan a family vacation. In this article, we'll explore family-friendly getaways you might love to visit during the fall:

1. The Northeast

If you want to enjoy autumn, there's no better place to visit than the Northeast. Whether it's hanging out in spooky Salem, Mass. or visiting New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine to watch the leaves change colors, there's plenty to do! When you're finished sightseeing around New England, stop at one of the many seafood restaurants dotting the Massachusetts coastline for some hearty lobsters or steamed clams.

2. Orlando

Your kids will love dressing up with Mickey, Minnie and the rest of Disney's character! The fall and winter are Disney World's slow seasons because most kids are in school. It's the perfect time to visit because, with less crowds, your kids will have more opportunities to enjoy famous rides such as Magic Kingdom's Splash Mountain or the Pirates of the Caribbean.

3. Las Vegas

Similar to Orlando, Las Vegas' tourist numbers dip when cooler weather arrives. However, the city's loss is your gain because you'll be able to enjoy everything Las Vegas has to offer without fighting through crowds.

While Vegas has the reputation of being an adult-only vacation spot, there are plenty of things you and your children can do. Instead of going to the casino every night, for example, take them to M&M World or a on gondola ride at the Venetian. If you want a little more entertainment, check out a medieval dinner show.
