Director of Operations – Olde Bloomfield Operations
Olde Bloomfield Operations is looking for a hands-on Director of Operations. The Director of
Operations has overall responsibility for all day-to-day operations of multiple business units
within the retail, food-service and hospitality sectors.
Working closely with key business partners you will develop, implement and enforce policies
that ensure the safety, efficiency and profitability of all business units.
The Director of Operations will report directly to Senior Staff Management and will oversee the
budgets of each business unit, all publicity and advertising, inventory management, and
staffing.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in a management position with at least 10 direct
reports. The ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines while keeping an even keel
are paramount for this position.
We are looking for a solution oriented, creative problem solver with a keen ability to identify
and mitigate potential issues in all facets of operations.
Requirements:
 Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse staff in a wide range of activities and job
functions. 
 Deep understanding of Retail and Food Service Operations.
 Familiarity with OSHA Safety Standards and KY Labor Laws and regulations.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 Exceptional customer service skills.
 Demonstrated experience overseeing HR functions such as payroll, personnel training,
onboarding, certification management, and document/record keeping.
 P&L ownership, budgeting and reporting experience.
 Demonstrated Project Management experience. 
 Ability to negotiate contracts with a wide range of vendors and effectively manage
deliverables.
 Flexible schedule. 
 Experience working with city and state government agencies regarding permits,
licensing, regulations, etc.
 Social Media, Public Relations, and Advertising experience in the retail and food service
