Minnesota nanny Kat Perkins proves her vocal talents once again

Our favorite nanny-turned-reality TV star Kat Perkins once again showed off her vocal talents on NBC's "The Voice" this week. On Monday's show, Perkins wowed viewers with her performance of Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide," a softer song choice than Perkins has opted for in the past. Although she received praise from all four celebrity coaches – including her own coach Adam Levine – on Tuesday night's reveal, Perkins found herself in the bottom three.

Determined to stay in the competition, Perkins showcased her vocal chops during the 'save' portion of the show, when she, Bria Kelly and Tess Boyer had one last chance to sing their hearts out and receive instant votes from America via social media.

"Perkins had earned the save with her seductive, rocked-out performance of Grace Potter & the Nocturnals' 'Paris (Ooh La La),' which she'd managed to make sound like her own even though it's a singing-competition show staple," reports the L.A. Times. "[Adam Levine] vowed, Perkins would return to 'go all the way.'"

You may remember that prior to the show, Perkins worked as a nanny for a Minneapolis- area family. In fact, during the season premiere of "The Voice," she even mentioned that she often uses her vocal skills to entertain the children she watches over, and has even formed a band with them.

We hope that Perkins continues to go all the way in the competition! As you can see, being a nanny can certainly open many doors for you and allow you to showcase your creative talents, whether they be arts and crafts, singing or storytelling.
