It turns out, actor/singer Jennifer Hudson is very generous with her holiday gifts. Well, this year Hudson upstaged the fictional movie by giving her personal assistant a house! Yes, you read that correctly. Hudson gifted her long-time assistant and friend Walter Williams III with his very own home.
“Walter and I have been friends since sixth grade,” Hudson told the Advocate. “He’s by far my closest friend.”
To share the Christmas spirit with all of her fans, Hudson uploaded a video on social media with Williams’ reaction. In the clip, Walter is clearly excited about his new gift. Once he realizes the present from Hudson, he drops the pile of papers he is looking at and jumps for joy. We wonder what it will take to get on Hudson’s Christmas list next year!
It doesn’t seem like Hudson’s generosity will slow down in 2014. Last summer, Hudson’s sister Julia revealed that Jennifer plans to transform her own childhood home in Chicago into a women’s shelter.
